Every now and then we like to take a look at interesting projects in the metro area …
The evolution of Hoboken’s upper northwest neighborhood will soon take another step forward with the upcoming debut of VIA Lofts, a boutique collection of 10 upscale condominium homes located at 1410 Grand Street in this well-known Hudson County City.
In preparing for the summer sales launch, developer Bijou Properties has begun accepting names for a list of VIP Homebuyers at the six-story luxury building. Interested prospects can visit www.VIALofts.com to add their name to the list and be one of the first to preview VIA Lofts’ two-and three-bedroom homes in advance of its Grand Opening.
Initial occupancy for the condominium homes at VIA Lofts is expected in October, 2018.
“Uptown Hoboken has staked its claim as one of the region’s most desirable residential settings for homebuyers seeking urban-inspired luxury, a family-oriented setting and commuter convenience into Manhattan,” says Christopher Mazzola, Development Manager for locally-based Bijou Properties. “VIA Lofts will effectively tap into this market by introducing well-appointed homes with large and open floorplans in a stylish and eco-friendly building that promotes a healthier, more efficient lifestyle.”
Hoboken’s northwest quarter is celebrated for being close enough to enjoy all that the City has to offer but in a more peaceful, removed setting. A host of restaurants, bars, boutique shops and conveniences are within walking distance, including a Trader Joe’s, Bowtie Cinemas, Bierhaus Biergarten, Gravity Vault Rock Climbing Gym, all less than one minute from the building.
There’s also a New York Sports Club nearby, as well as the 14thStreet New York Waterway Ferry providing convenient service to midtown and downtown Manhattan.
VIA Lofts is on pace to receive LEED Platinum certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), making it the latest collection of premium, “green” residences developed by Bijou Properties in Hoboken. Designed by MHS Architects, new building is being built in accordance with the USGBC’s LEED guidelines for developing high-performance, sustainable buildings which incorporate responsible site development, energy efficient design and ecological-friendly materials to create environmentally-sensitive urban living environment.
