‘Top Chef’ star Dale Talde’s Asian fusion Talde Jersey City is opening tonight.
The project, announced in October 2013, is a partnership between Talde and his Brooklyn-based restaurant partners David Massoni and John Bush and “Kitchen Cousins” stars Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri and Anthony’s father, Alfonso, who owns the stately building at 8 Erie Street. It was built in the late 1800s as a telephone switching station and later housed the Jersey City Police Department.
The casual Asian-American restaurant and bar will feature Korean fried chicken and dim sum selections. Talde will be offering an assortment of bao (steamed and stuffed Chinese buns) based on his favorite fast-food restaurants.

Talde JC is located a short walk from the Grove Street train stop on the PATH. Served by Newark-World Trade Center and Journal Square-33rd Street lines.
