Jersey City Connects is holding a speed dating event on Thursday, August 6, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at The Shepherd and the Knucklehead in Hoboken. The event is open to single adults between the ages of 29 and 36.

Participants will get five minutes with each match and can expect to meet up to 14 eligible singles over the course of the night. Attendees are asked to arrive a few minutes early, since speed dating begins at 7:15 p.m. After the rounds wrap up, guests fill out a match card noting their preferences, and matches are sent out within 48 hours.
