The Historic Downtown Jersey City Special Improvement District is hosting a free outdoor World Cup 2026 watch party on Saturday, June 27 along Newark Avenue Pedestrian Plaza from 3 to 11 p.m. Matches will be shown on two jumbo screens, including a 17-foot Jumbotron at Grove Street and Newark Avenue and a second screen near Morlees. The event is sponsored by Legends FC Sports Bar, which will provide beer and liquor service on site.

A handmade market will run from noon to 6 p.m., and outdoor dining, bars, and local food options will also be available throughout the day.
