Fulop Announced Move to Relaunch Ferry Service from Port Liberte, Reduce Fares

JERSEY CITY, NJ – As reported by https://www.tapinto.net/ councilwoman Denise Ridley will introduce a resolution at the May 24 meeting of the Jersey City Municipal Council to award a contract for ferry services out of the Port Liberte Ferry Terminal to NYWaterway, Mayor Steven Fulop announced in a statement on Wednesday. 

The City of Jersey City recently acquired the terminal to restore the only ferry service outside of downtown, promote ridership, and ensure residents in low- and moderate-income communities have greater access to affordable and efficient transportation options.
