JERSEY CITY, NJ – As reported by tapinto.net/ Sunday’s first ever Jersey City Marathon and Half Marathon will cause traffic disruptions and road closures as runners traverse the 26.2 mile course.
“As we gear up for this event, please plan ahead for major traffic impacts early in the morning on race day, until early afternoon. Parking restrictions will start on Saturday, April 22,” said Ward E Council James Solomon. “We have arranged to have public parking in several local locations. Cars parked on the course may be subject to towing. Abide by posted signs.
More than 5,000 runners are expected to participate in the race which will start at 7 a.m.
