The Shuster Group is continuing its commitment to the Jersey City arts community by hosting a special event at The Art House luxury rental building on Friday, September 5th, 2014 in conjunction with JC Fridays, a celebration of the arts in Jersey City.
Open to the public, the event will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Art House which is located at 148 First Street in the culturally-rich Powerhouse Arts District.
The exhibition will include the debut of the gallery spaces at The Art House featuring 12 floors of original artwork from local Jersey City artists. The showcase is the latest installment of The Art Project, a collaboration of The Shuster Group, curator Jim Pustorino, the Jersey City Economic Development Corporation and the City of Jersey City to promote local artists by displaying and selling their works to help inspire underserved youths through advanced visual arts courses. All proceeds from the Art Project benefit artists and underserved communities.
