It’s been quite a month for Warren at York! In addition to announcing this week that an astounding 90 percent of its apartments have been leased in just their first month of availability, the luxury rental community in Paulus Hook was recently named the most exciting rental project in Jersey City by our readers.

Warren at York captured 83 percent of the vote in our readers’ poll on what new rental opening they are most excited about, defeating other upscale rentals such as 18 Park in Liberty Harbor North and the newly opened Paramount building at The Beacon.

Since opening in early April, Warren at York has distinguished itself from other apartment offerings by loudly touting the virtues of its Paulus Hook location, as well as its self-described brand of “urban rustic flare” which characterizes the building’s décor, amenities and lifestyle offerings. Indeed, the boutique-style community has created an entire brand around its image and its location, and it is likely that the 139-unit building will lease up soon.

Apartments at Warren at York range from the $2,100s to the upper $5,000s, and range in size from 607 square feet to 1,789 square feet in the 11-story building’s three-bedroom penthouse residences. The community’s website, www.warrenatyork.com, lists more than two dozen floor plans that are available, which further underscores developer BNE Real Estate Group’s point that this is a far cry from a cookie-cutter community.

Despite finishing well behind Warren at York in our poll, The Paramount (www.thebeaconjc.com) and 18 Park (www.18park.com) are likely poised for success as well, with the city’s sustained uptick in rental demand holding steady. The Paramount will feature 231 rental residences, with prices starting in the $1,700s, while 18 Park will include 422 rental residences, with pricing yet to be announced. Both buildings are slated to open this spring.
