The public has a final chance to weigh in on the proposed renovation of the Landmark Loew’s Jersey Theater. On Monday, Oct. 25, the Jersey City Historic Preservation Commission will review the plans for the historic landmark.

According to nj.com, “The 1929 movie palace on Journal Square is set for a $72 million renovation as part of its rebirth as an entertainment venue under the planned management of Devils Arena Entertainment.

The Historic Preservation Commission saw an initial presentation on the renovation plans in July but, said the designs presented were largely conceptual. It asked the applicants to return later in the year with more concrete plans.”
