You and your family are invited to spend the night at LSC as they whip up a little hocus pocus for a sleepover you’ll never forget. Snooze in your favorite exhibits, but not before experiencing a night of Halloween thrills! Navigate your way through our outdoor Spider Maze, a 4,000-sq-ft webby labyrinth that’s unlike any maze you’ve experienced before. Fight zombies in our virtual reality game, transform into a ghost at the Pepper’s Ghost Illusion Chamber, and explore chemistry by mixing some magic potions!
The bravest members in your family will also love the return of our Doom Zoo. If you think you can handle it, step inside and confront the horrific half-human, half-animal creations of a mad scientist! Last year, a total of 287 people cried after entering the Doom Zoo. Will you be added to the Tear Tally this year?
The activities and experiments only continue from there. Explore the science of bat flight (and try on your own pair of wings!). Get a close up look at some of LSC’s own “creepy crawlies” and even view a Venus flytrap feeding. Younger kids will also love navigating their way through our hay bale scarecrow maze!

The fun starts at 6:00 pm on Oct. 19. All family members must arrive by 8:00 pm – there will not be any admission afterward. The event lasts through 10:00 am on Oct. 20, after which families are invited to explore the Science Center for the day.
This family event is for kids 6 and up. Each group must have a chaperone 21 and over. Children under the age of 6 will not be permitted.
