Tuesdays – July 10th, 17th, 24th at 6:30 p.m.
This three-part course will begin with an introduction to the guitar, an introduction to music theory, and an introduction to music of the masters of classical guitar. The course meets every Tuesday for three weeks.

Intro to Musical Theatre with Warren Curtis
Wednesdays – July 11th, 18th, and 25th at 6:30 p.m.
This three-part course will begin with an introduction to musical theatre and jazz, an introduction to jazz dance, and an exploration of how to bring a character to life through dance. The course meets every Wednesday for three weeks.

This three-part course will begin with an introduction to different fundamental techniques for graphical representation. These skills are applicable across media. The course meets every Thursday for three weeks.

Intro to Making Dances: Improv & Choreography with Katelyn Halpern
Thursdays – August 2 and 9 at 6:30 p.m.
This TWO-part course is an introduction to improvising and composing your way to original choreography. The first class will focus on group exercises that allow you to experiment, collaborate, and learn basic steps. The second class provides opportunities for solo improvisation and exercise. The course meets on Thursday for two weeks.

Intro to Modern Dance with Stacy Collado
Wednesdays – August 22nd, 29th, and September 5th at 6:30 p.m.
Dancing is deep-seated in the human condition and how beings connect. This three-part course is an introduction to modern dance through not only learning movement but also drawing on our lived experiences. Each class will have a different movement concentration related to both physical tendencies of the body as well as what it means to be human.

Yoga for Unleashing Creativity
with Nalini
Thursdays – August 23rd, 30th, and September 6th at 6:30 p.m.
All too often artists can find themselves with a “block” when excessive thoughts and anxieties begin to take over. This open/mixed level yoga class focuses on the benefits of yoga to quiet and focus the artists’ mind to unleash inner creativity. The course meets every Thursday for three weeks.
