An afternoon of indulgence, empowerment and networking for professional women

Jersey City, NJ – Digital startup Jersey City Girl will unveil the latest trends in fashion, style and beauty, plus powerful insights to jump-start your career development on June 11th with the launch of its second empowerment event for women, SheParty. A chic afternoon to indulge, empower and network, this unique seasonal event will take place at a private lounge in Exchange Place near the scenic Hudson Waterfront.
Designed by women for women, SheParty provides a unique, ‘girls afternoon in’ experience for savvy, ambitious women to network, mingle and unwind, while nurturing and empowering themselves inside and out. Each SheParty features a unique seasonal theme and educational presentations by local entrepreneurs specializing in career, finance, style, beauty, skincare and wellness, giving attendees a unique opportunity to experience in-person a variety of services and resources under one roof.
Organizers of this event are Nadia Kanwal, Founder of Jersey City Girl and Etailer of organic handcrafted jewelry , and Vicki Aubin, Career Reinvention Consultant . Aubin explains, “A year ago, Nadia and I were chatting over a cup of tea in her living room about our shared experiences and challenges as entrepreneurs, and we thought wouldn’t it be great if we can partner together to empower other professional women in our community?”… and in an instant SheParty was born.
SheParty is hosted in collaboration with Jersey City Girl. With a focus on local lifestyle news & events dedicated to everything surrounding the Hudson Waterfront, Jersey City Girl’s mission is to bring residents of Jersey City together to live, learn and grow personally and professionally while celebrating the burgeoning explosion of culture and innovation in their city.
Adds Kanwal, “We saw this as a unique opportunity to foster meaningful connections between local women who seek to innovate, rejuvenate and develop themselves continuously, with local product and service entrepreneurs whose mission it is to serve them, that they otherwise would not be aware of”.
The event will also feature a presentation and mini-consultations with Ujjaini Lahiry, Fashion Stylist and Founder/Director of myhappynook.com, as well as personalized skin analysis and hand massage with Esthetician & Skincare Specialist Teresa Cuevas.
