As reported by hobokengirl.com, one of Jersey City’s most popular pop-up bakeries will now have a permanent home. Sourdough Society, a staple of the Hamilton Park and Coles Street Farmers Markets, will open in Jersey City’s Harborside in November 2025. 

The new chapter for Sourdough Society will be inside Nana’s Deli, located at 210 Hudson Street. Sophie told HG that it was a series of factors that led to the decision to move to a brick-and-mortar. “We needed more consistent access to a commercial kitchen, and with the seasonal markets ending, we were getting creative about where we could bake,” she said. “We got in touch with Jason Dworkin, with Nana’s Deli, and he offered us kitchen space and space in the shop.”

The shop is set to have its grand opening on Friday, November 28th, 2025.
