Incredibly exciting news was announced just as the new school year gets underway in Jersey City.
Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop and other dignitaries recently cut the ribbon at The French American Academy’s new high school at 118 Ferry Street. According to JerseyDigs.com:
The academy, who also operates in Englewood, is the only private High School in Jersey City to offer an immersive bilingual education combined with the globally recognized International Baccalaureate curriculum. The dual accreditation allows students to meet standards of both French and American educational systems.
The academy’s new facility includes a performing arts theater for opportunities in music, drama, and visual arts plus a state-of-the-art STEM maker space. Other amenities at the property include sports facilities like tennis courts, sports fields, and a swimming pool plus a large cafeteria and industrial kitchen for hands-on exploration.
