Whole Spectrum Autism Foundation Host Events to Raise Acceptance of Individuals on Spectrum

JERSEY CITY, NJ – As reported by http://tapinto.net when Sherry Singh, founder of The Whole Spectrum Autism Foundation, first encountered the word “autism,” she didn’t know much about it. One of the local kids apparently had been diagnosed with it.

So, it was more than something of a shock to find her son receiving the same diagnosis later, after she thought the boy was suffering from difficulty hearing.

Singh has since become a leading spokesperson to raise acceptance about Autism and, since April is Autism Acceptance Month, her foundation has arranged for flag raisings in Jersey City, Bayonne, Union City and Hudson County, as well as to light the Newark Avenue pedestrian plaza blue at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5.
