NJ TRANSIT is inviting the public to celebrate their 40th anniversary of rail operations on Sunday, Oct. 1, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors can view some of NJ TRANSIT’s iconic locomotives and honor the history of the railroad near Track 17 at Hoboken Terminal.

According to http://nj.com the celebration will take place concurrently with the 2023 Hoboken Music and Arts Festival, which will be taking place along Washington Street.
