Nimbus Dance Works presents the 10th Anniversary Season Premier this Saturday, November 8th at 7 PM at the Barrow Mansion in Jersey City, NJ. The evening will include the performance, reception, and auction. TICKETS
“Nimbus Dance Works’ 2014-2015 Season takes the company to Maine, Vermont, New York City and through the State of New Jersey, culminating with the company’s New York City Season in its first appearance at Brooklyn Academy of Music. The company will premiere a new work by Artistic Director Samuel Pott, reprises from Nimbus’ repertory including Charles Weidman’s 1936 modern dance masterpiece Lynchtown, Francesca Harper’s Backspace, Pedro Ruiz’s Danzon, and Pott’s We Acquiesce.
Nimbus’ 2014-2015 Spring Season revisits some of the dances that have meant a great deal to the company, to our audiences and to me personally over the last years. It is exciting to be exploring new ground artistically and at the same time building continuity with Nimbus’s commitment to a diverse repertory of excellent choreographers and dance works. Audiences will find communion with our dancers, our repertory and the strong connection that Nimbus makes with people who attend our performances.”
-Samuel Pott, Artistic Director
